Nicolas Peyrac Suffit que tu oses

When I heard this song the first time I immediatly love it and listen listen listen many times. That song and melody touch my heart and my emotion deeply. I don’t know why. Maybe it remind me childhood. At that time french song was popular. French is a language that suit very good with music and song.

A vrai dire presque rien

Qu’on exclu, qu’on méprise
Qu’on banisse

Suffit que tu veuilles, que tu oses
Pour que change la noirceur des choses
Et qu’on se découvre enfin
Suffit que tu dises, que t’inventes
D’autres mots dans ceux que tu chantes

For king and country – joy

For King and country – Joy

Recently I just discover this group. I must say that I am falling in love with all their production. The fist title I discover was joy. I was sad and just listening to this gave me simply joy.

For King and Country is a Christian pop duo composed of Australian brothers Joel Luke Smallbone. In 2015 they win the Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song.

They declare :

The power of music can impact our mood, emotions, our day. But when you merge the strength of music with the heart, hope and passion of the Gospel… it has the ultimate power not only to change someone’s day, but to impact them for eternity. This is why we write music and sing songs – we hope that people will be moved, encouraged and stirred to live a life for Someone greater than themselve

verse 1: Luke Smallbone]
Lately, I’ve been reading, watching the nightly news
Can’t seem to find the rhythm, just wanna sing the blues
Feels like a song that never… stops
Feels like it’s never gonna

[Pre-Chorus: Joel Smallbone]
Gotta get that fire, fire, back in my bones
Before my heart, heart, turns into stone
So somebody please pass the megaphone
I’ll shout it on the count of three
One, two, three

[Chorus 1: Joel & Luke Smallbone]
Oh, hear my prayer tonight, I’m singing to the sky
Give me strength to raise my voice, let me testify
Oh, hear my prayer tonight, ’cause this is do or die
The time has come to make a choice
And I choose joy
Let it move you, let it move, let it move you
Yeah, I choose joy
Let it move you, let it move, let it move you

[Verse 2: Joel & Luke Smallbone]
Yeah-eh, back when I was young, my eyes were full of life
But now that I am older, I live at the speed of light
Feels like the cycle never… stops
Feels like it’s never gonna

[Pre-Chorus: Joel & Luke Smallbone]
Gotta get that fire, fire, back in my bones
Before my heart, heart, turns into stone
So somebody please pass the megaphone
I’ll shout it on the count of three
One, two, three

[Chorus 2: Joel & Luke Smallbone]
Oh, hear my prayer tonight, I’m singing to the sky
Give me strength to raise my voice, let me testify
Oh, hear my prayer tonight, ’cause this is do or die
The time has come to make a choice
And I choose joy
Let it move you, let it move, let it move you
Yeah, I choose joy
Let it move you, let it move, let it move you
Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of night
Oh, with You by my side, I’m stepping into the light
I choose joy
Let it move you, let it move, let it move you

[Bridge: Luke Smallbone]
I need that joy, joy, joy, joy
Down in my heart, down in my heart to stay
I need that joy, joy, joy, joy
Down in my heart, down in my heart to stay

[Turn]

[Chorus 3: Joel & Luke Smallbone]
And I choose joy
Let it move you, go let it move, go let it move you
Oh, I choose joy
Let it move you, oh let it move, let it move you
Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of night
Oh, with You by my side, I’m stepping into the light
I choose joy
Go let it move you, go let it move, go let it move you

[Outro: Joel & Luke Smallbone]
I need that joy, joy, joy, joy
Down in my heart, down in my heart to stay
I need that joy, joy, joy, joy
Down in my heart, down in my heart to stay

Owl City – Lucid Dream

Soon a new Album of Owl city is going to run : cinematic. I like this song. I can hear it in loop 10 time.

We know that Adam Young could not sleep well. What is why he start with I am a light sleeper. But he is a heavy dreamer. Are you a dreamer ?

Do you believe in endless miracles?
Do you believe in the impossible?
Do you believe sleep is a time machine?
Do you believe in curiosity?
Do you believe in what you cannot see?
Do you believe life is a Lucid Dream?

I am a light sleeper
But I am a heavy dreamer
My imagination gives me wings
And I can go anywhere

And when I wander away, to some other place
I’m suddenly there, way up in the air
Where passenger trains catch fire and fill the sky with flames
And that black rabbit of death
Wakes up in a breath, of beautiful dreams
My heartache it seems, so terribly vain
Where fire and diamonds fall like rain

Do you believe in endless miracles?
Do you believe in the impossible?
Do you believe sleep is a time machine?
Do you believe in curiosity?
Do you believe in what you cannot see?
Do you believe life is a Lucid Dream?

Well that’s how you study the stars
That’s how you study the stars
And that’s how you know ’em by heart
Life is a Lucid Dream

Such is the path of a dreamer
I find my way by moonlight
My imagination gives me wings
And I can go anywhere

And when I wander away, to some other place
I’m suddenly there, way up in the air
Where passenger trains catch fire and fill the sky with flames
And that black rabbit of death
Wakes up in a breath, of beautiful dreams
My heartache it seems, so terribly vain
Where fire and diamonds fall like rain

Do you believe in endless miracles?
Do you believe in the impossible?
Do you believe sleep is a time machine?
Do you believe in curiosity?
Do you believe in what you cannot see?
Do you believe life is a Lucid Dream?

Well that’s how you study the stars
That’s how you study the stars
And that’s how you know ’em by heart
Life is a Lucid Dream
Well that’s how you study the stars
That’s how you study the stars
And that’s how you know ’em by heart
Life is a Lucid Dream

I am a light sleeper
But I am a heavy dreamer

We Don’t Talk Anymore

We Don’t Talk Anymore
We don’t talk anymore, we don’t talk anymore
We don’t talk anymore, like we used to do
We don’t love anymore
What was all of it for?
Oh, we don’t talk anymore, like we used to do
I just heard you found the one you’ve been looking
You’ve been looking for
I wish I would have known that wasn’t me
‘Cause even after all this time I still wonder
Why I can’t move on
Just the way you did so easily
Don’t wanna know
What kind of dress you’re wearing tonight
If he’s holding onto you so tight
The way I did before
I overdosed
Should’ve known your love was a game
Now I can’t get you out of my brain
Oh, it’s such a shame
That we don’t talk anymore, we don’t talk anymore
We don’t talk anymore, like we used to do
We don’t love anymore
What was all of it for?
Oh, we don’t talk anymore, like we used to do
I just hope you’re lying next to somebody
Who knows how to love you like me
There must be a good reason that you’re gone
Every now and then I think you
Might want me to come show up at your door
But I’m just too afraid that I’ll be wrong
Don’t wanna know
If you’re looking into her eyes
If she’s holding onto you so tight the way I did before
I overdosed
Should’ve known your love was a game
Now I can’t get you out of my brain
Oh, it’s such a shame
That we don’t talk anymore (We don’t, we don’t)
We don’t talk anymore (We don’t, we don’t)
We don’t talk anymore, like we used to do
We don’t love anymore (We don’t, we don’t)
What was all of it for? (We don’t, we don’t)
Oh, we don’t talk anymore, like we used to do
Like we used to do
Don’t wanna know
What kind of dress you’re wearing tonight
If he’s giving it to you just right
The way I did before
I overdosed
Should’ve known your love was a game
Now I can’t get you out of my brain
Oh, it’s such a shame
That we don’t talk anymore (We don’t, we don’t)
We don’t talk anymore (We don’t, we don’t)
We don’t talk anymore, like we used to do
We don’t love anymore (We don’t, we don’t)
What was all of it for? (We don’t, we don’t)
Oh, we don’t talk anymore, like we used to do
We don’t talk anymore, oh, oh
(What kind of dress you’re wearing tonight)
(If he’s holding onto you so tight)
The way I did before
We don’t talk anymore, oh, woah
(Should’ve known your love was a game)
(Now I can’t get you out of my brain)
Ooh, it’s such a shame
That we don’t talk anymore
